Really hard couple of days! From Ennerdale bridge to seatoller, we took in haystacks which was incredible although difficult in the heat we had… Snoop took it in his stride and was first to the top, scrambling the last bit on his own and sat waiting for us at the top! Views were just incredible, breathtaking! The climb down was hard, going through slate mines at honister pass and then a final slog down the road to our destination for the night..
Today we did the mammoth task of seatoller to patterdale, a total of 19 miles with 2 huge ascents and descents in there as well. We climbed Greenup Edge looking forward to the fantastic views only to find that visibility was so poor I couldn’t see Snoop at the end of his lead!! Finally down at Patterdale, we’re tired, weary and sore but very proud of the last 2 days!
